A FORMERSt Stanislaus’ College priest will faceSydney’s Central Local Court on Wednesday on14 charges of indecent assault and sexual assault dating back to the 1970s.

Detectives attacked to Strike Force Bellearrested 63-year-old Glenn Michael Humphreys in Western Australia on Tuesday,after he finished serving a two-year sentence there.

He has been extradited to NSW to face the further charges.

Chifley local area commandacting crime managerInspector Chris Reay said the charges against Humphreys related to offencesallegedlycommitted against students at St Stanislaus’College between 1975and 1982.

Humphreys had previously been charged by police in relation to the allegations, but was already incarcerated in Western Australia at the time.

Matters against Humphreys were last mentioned in the Bathurst Local Court in November 2015when magistrate Michael Allen issued a warrant for his arrest.

He had been denied parole and was not in Bathurst Local Court when Mr Allen issued the warrant.

Humphreys is facing seven counts of indecent assault against a male andseven charges of sexual assault orindecent act against a person aged 14 to 16.

He is one of 12 people who have been charged under Strike Force Belle, established to investigate allegations of historic sexual abuse at the boarding school.
