Fashionista: How is this for a head of beautiful hair? Tammie Nye from Mogo was treated to a special do by the staff at Ambiguous. It was like a rainbow, a gorgeous rainbow!

While there they attended an Abba-themed 60th birthday party, and caught up with Jenny’s family and old school friends.

They also helped her big sister Beryl celebrate her birthday a few days early.

Lyn Draper and quite a few other locals, mostly from Maloneys Beach, travelled to Milton last Friday night to see the Australian Bee Gees at the Milton Theatre.

The group hired a bus from Moruya, travelled in style, had dinner at the EX Servicemen’s at Ulladulla and then home again.

It was a great night and apparently the back seat crowd were in fine spirits on the journey home.

Happy birthday to gorgeous Debbie Bellette who celebrated with a large cream sponge cake!

The team from Ambiguous at Mogo have moved to Queen St in Moruya, good luck in your new venture Deb, Lucas and the gang!

Beautiful staff member at Maranatha, Kathryn Emerson is also having a birthday, have a great day Kathryn.

Another encounter on my trip overseas, in the lift of the NH Eurobuilding hotel in Madrid, I ran into a gentleman called Bruce Code and during our quick conversation in the lift, I managed to find out that he was an Aussie.

Notonly that but that he had been in Nelligen the week before researching his ancestors.

Nelligen folk will recognise his family tree; Schofield’s, Shaws, Richardsons and Braithwaites, all buried at Nelligen and Braidwood.

It’s been said before but I’ll say it again, it’s a small world!

The Bay Post staff, plus a few ring-ins, had a great farewell dinner for Emily Barton last Tuesday evening.

Emily is off to work as the digital expert for Fairfax in Bowral.

Her bright happy smile and bubbly personality will be greatly missed.

Head to the Gumtree Patisserie Emily!
